{"id":15408,"date":"2023-07-31T12:18:31","date_gmt":"2023-07-31T10:18:31","guid":{"rendered":"urn:uuid:33383063-3337-5165-a637-336661326666"},"modified":"2023-09-07T09:17:28","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T07:17:28","slug":"tomas-cuartero-candela-benlloch-y-carlos-garcia-ante-el-mundial-juvenil-de-skyrunning-estar-entre-los-mejores-del-mundo-es-una-oportunidad-increible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.lurbel.eu\/en\/noticias\/tomas-cuartero-candela-benlloch-y-carlos-garcia-ante-el-mundial-juvenil-de-skyrunning-estar-entre-los-mejores-del-mundo-es-una-oportunidad-increible","title":{"rendered":"Tom\u00e1s Cuartero, Candela Benlloch y Carlos Garc\u00eda ante el mundial juvenil de Skyrunning: \u201cestar entre los mejores del mundo es una oportunidad incre\u00edble\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La semana pasada la <a href=\"https:\/\/fedme.es\/convocatoria-campeonato-del-mundo-juvenil-italia-2023\/\">FEDME<\/a> daba a conocer la lista de convocados al mundial juvenil de Skyrunning en L\u2019 Aquila (Italia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy, tenemos la oportunidad de hablar con Tom\u00e1s Cuartero, Carlos Garc\u00eda y Candela Benlloch, tres de los 18 atletas seleccionados para representar a Espa\u00f1a, para que nos cuenten c\u00f3mo han recibido la noticia y c\u00f3mo ha sido su preparaci\u00f3n para la gran cita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No ocurre todos los d\u00edas ser seleccionado\/a para ir a un mundial, \u00bfC\u00f3mo hab\u00e9is recibido la noticia?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTodav\u00eda recuerdo la ma\u00f1ana en la que recib\u00ed la noticia; como todos los d\u00edas, abr\u00ed el correo para mirar apuntes de clase y en ese momento, vi un correo diferente con un t\u00edtulo totalmente sorprendente: Convocatoria Selecci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola CxM Youth &#8211; ISF WC23, me qued\u00e9 de piedra\u201d, nos comenta el corredor del Lurbel Team Tom\u00e1s Cuartero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para Candela Benlloch, subcampeona de Espa\u00f1a de carreras por monta\u00f1a, este mundial no le pilla de nuevas, ya que el a\u00f1o pasado tambi\u00e9n fue convocada. \u201cCuando recib\u00ed el correo en el que dec\u00eda que hab\u00eda sido elegida para formar parte de la selecci\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola y participar en el pr\u00f3ximo campeonato del mundo no me lo pod\u00eda creer, no ten\u00eda palabras. Le\u00ed mi nombre unas cuantas veces para comprobar que no era un error\u201d, nos cuenta la corredora valenciana esponsorizada por Lurbel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El granadino Carlos Garc\u00eda, tambi\u00e9n esponsorizado por la marca valenciana Lurbel, afirma que \u201cla llamada de la selecci\u00f3n estaba en el aire, ya que no era seguro que un segundo puesto en la carrera en l\u00ednea diera plaza para el mundial, as\u00ed que ya est\u00e1bamos planteando la temporada que viene sin tener en cuenta esta posibilidad\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo lleg\u00e1is f\u00edsica y mentalmente a esta gran cita?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cF\u00edsicamente me veo muy bien, la he preparado bastante a conciencia, ya que es una cosa que vengo haciendo con cada una de las pruebas a las que me presento, y esta no iba a ser menos, ya que el nivel lo requiere\u201d, afirma Tom\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tanto \u00e9l como su compa\u00f1era Candela, tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en una concentraci\u00f3n con el resto de los compa\u00f1eros de la selecci\u00f3n; \u201cfue incre\u00edble entrenar con todo el equipo, conocerlos, dialogar. En el deporte conoces a gente maravillosa a la que nunca pensar\u00edas que conocer\u00edas y, al final, eso es lo bonito, independientemente de lo obtenido\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La corredora valenciana a\u00f1ade que \u201calargar un mundial hasta agosto, con el calor, las fiestas de pueblo y, en definitiva, un mes de descanso y disfrute, est\u00e1 siendo un poco duro por la parte social, ya que esto conlleva un fuerte esfuerzo, constancia y dedicaci\u00f3n si quieres conseguir tus metas, pero si se quiere, se puede\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el caso de Carlos, llega a esta cita al 100% f\u00edsicamente, ya que ha terminado la \u00faltima semana de carga con muy buenas sensaciones y trabajando mentalmente la situaci\u00f3n que se van a encontrar. Para \u00e9l, \u201cson unas distancias y desniveles que en competici\u00f3n vamos a enfrentar por primera vez\u201d, nos confirma su padre Jose Carlos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No cabe duda de que, en Espa\u00f1a, tenemos muy buenos corredores de monta\u00f1a y muchos de los j\u00f3venes, como los que hoy tenemos la oportunidad de charlar, est\u00e1n dispuestos a demostrar todo su potencial.Adem\u00e1s de ser deportistas con experiencia y con la lecci\u00f3n muy bien aprendida, saben la importancia que tiene cada detalle para hacer una buena carrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1l va a ser vuestra estrategia en una carrera d\u00f3nde van a estar los mejores del mundo?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLa estrategia que llevar\u00e9 en carrera, como viene siendo habitual, ser\u00e1 intentar reservar fuerzas durante la primera subida larga e intentar apretar en las partes t\u00e9cnicas para rascar tiempo\u201d, afirma Tom\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En cambio, la corredora valenciana Candela, afirma que \u201cpersonalmente, no suelo utilizar ninguna, ya que no son carreras muy largas. Pero, por mi parte, se me dan mejor las subidas que las bajadas, por lo que mi manera de actuar ser\u00e1 apretar en la subida sin pasarme, para poder llegar bien a la bajada y poder hacer una gran actuaci\u00f3n en el tramo final\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El corredor Carlos Garc\u00eda afirma que \u201cser\u00eda un error pensar que podemos ganar una carrera as\u00ed sin estar todav\u00eda en la l\u00ednea de salida, pero sabemos hasta d\u00f3nde podemos llegar\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Al margen del resultado, \u00bfC\u00f3mo esper\u00e1is que sea esta experiencia?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDel mismo modo que la concentraci\u00f3n, ser\u00e1 una experiencia incre\u00edble, de aprendizaje y de valorar lo que hemos sembrado durante todo el a\u00f1o\u201d, comenta Tom\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candela afirma que ser\u00e1 \u201cuna experiencia inolvidable, de la que estoy completamente segura que nunca olvidar\u00e9. Ya solo poder estar aqu\u00ed s\u00e9 lo mucho que significa y es algo que no todos lo pueden disfrutar, por lo que, si se te da la oportunidad, est\u00e1 claro que no hay que desaprovecharla, as\u00ed que, voy a divertirme y a dar lo mejor de m\u00ed a partes iguales\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al igual que sus compa\u00f1eros, para Carlos esta oportunidad resulta \u201cuna experiencia brutal, ya que vamos a estar entre los mejores de este deporte\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin duda, el Mundial de Skyrunning ser\u00e1 una magn\u00edfica
